Yarn Aong ~ Fanatic for felting
Joining Ginny over at Small Things for Yarn Along:
"~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? ... ~"
Last week I had started reading Naomi Aldort's Raising Our Children Raising Ourselves, and still am. But, in true form, I have to read more than one book at a time (kind of like my projects), and I know I am not the only bibliophile or yarnophile that does this :). So I am starting Ishmael by Daniel Quinn. I know little about this book, but will share when I know more, perhaps next week.
Meanwhile...ta-da!! My crocheted turned felted purse I started last week is finished. I am thrilled with it, really. If anyone is interested in the pattern, let me know, I will get it to you :). And I am off to start a hat for my mother-in-law whose birthday is in two days. TWO days?!!! Gotta go! Be back soon :).

ReplyDeleteThe little purse is so cute, I have not felted anything yet but I think my daughter would love this! So, so, cute!

ReplyDeleteSo cute! Wonderful colours and the felt is gorgeous! Too many reasons to re-learn crochet.
ReplyDeleteIt looks terrific all felted up!
ReplyDeletethat purse is gorgeous - you are very clever!!
ReplyDeleteLove the Aldort book - it goes alongside the Alfie Kohn books so well - those plus Playful Parenting are my go to's when I feel myself getting off track.
Have just started "Radical Acceptance" by Tara Brach - think it's going to be inspiring and challenging in equal measure.
Oh, and am crocheting a blanket for Aiyana - something I've been promising her since last September when I completed Taine's. Really need to crack on....
Love the purse! If you would share the pattern that would be great.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Elizabeth
More than one book at a time? Why I never....
