  3. I liked the sound of that Kate Morton book when Mon posted about it- it's on my to read list, but that is veering dangerously out of control at the moment, I have so many books that I am itching to read!!

Joy pockets this week is feeling the spring sunshine warmth on our faces, spending some wonderful moments with my daughter, delighting in how grown up she is these days and what a beautiful character she is developing.

  5. Oh my goodness that afghan is gorgeous!! I'll have to drool for now!

Oh, I am so ready for a bike ride!

And The Forgotten Garden is a wonderful novel, I loved it; I could not put it down. I have another one of her books I picked up at a book sale, I really must read it soon. Library books always have to come first. : (

  7. There is nothing more adorable than a naked baby playing! Your joy pockets sounds wonderful. This is inspiring me to think of my own, especially on those difficult mothering days. It's all about perspective right?

  8. Love the concept of "joy pockets!"
Mine are filled with the sense of accomplishment at getting the garden beds cleaned out, time to watch a movie with hubby, and reading lots of board books with the littles.

    Have a great week!

  9. Love your joy pockets.. Here are mine from the weekend.. I really wish I knew how to post links to pix here..
*The first sign of a thriving new tomato plant *Watching a 3 year old little boy nurture his "baby ag-o Twee" (avocado which he grew from a pit)
*Showing your husband a post on his sister's blog that made his chest puff with pride
*Watching a beautiful GIGANTIC full moon
*Re-Reading an old favorite book when the house is calm and quiet.
*Seeing what is left of the huge loaf of Irish soda bread I baked and 3 swollen bellies.. :)
    Have a great week everyone!!
