an evening on the beach with friends...
and an afternoon braving the crowds at the Winter Park Arts Festival where beautiful art and talent could be found at every turn...

Why did I take this lady's picture? Because she is NOT REAL. She is a sculpture, more eerie in person than on camera...
And finally a chance for all budding artists to have a turn...
Amidst all the lovely things, many other moments filled our spaces:
*story moments--some watched and some told (click play for a laugh),
*swimming moments--very short I might add (brrrr),
*sushi and sake moments with hubs,
*speedy knitting moments (gotta finish!),
*and last minute cleaning and staging moments, looking for the perfect person to fall for our home...
I swear I wish I could freeze time when our house looks this clean and good, as homeschooling never allows it to stay this way!! Shall I share pics? I have loved seeing glimpses of yours, maybe I'll do the same :)...
Hope your weekend was filled with lovelies, too :)...
What a fab weekend - I could feel the warmth. It looks so colourful.
ReplyDeleteYes, please share your home with us!!! x
sounds like a great weekend! i wish there was a beach nearby - it's a great way to get away from it all for the day and unwind.
ReplyDeleteand that moon was amazing this weekend, wasn't it?
I feel for you keeping a house clean for new homeowners and homeschooling at the same time. I hope you sell soon so that you can continue toward your dream. Have a wonderful day.

Tracey
PS-love the picture of your daughter painting...one of my favorite things to do although it doesn't happen that much any more.
MJ, First of all I love the awesome beach photo. The colours are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat lady looks REAL!! Very freaky! Some cool and interesting art work however.
Sending good vibes for selling the house. I remember those days, and my house has never, ever looked that organized since (or before for that matter)!
I did it! I blogged!
ReplyDeleteOh those beach photos look so wonderful! It's snowing here in Maine today after an amazingly warm weekend...that festival looks like tons of fun! Enjoy your clean home:)
