My Loves Pt. 1: A Bee in the Bucket

Often found in peculiar places for her own spectacular reasons, we found her this time in a bucket of her own concocted soup of herbs (yes, from my garden) and leaves.  When asked "why", the answer was because she wanted to take a bath in warm soup. Of course.

Little did we know that when we nicknamed her "the Bee" that she would embrace that name in nearly every sense of the word.  A lover of all animals, as well as their fierce protector and rescuer, if she isn't playing with her own collection, she is outside looking for one to save.

A baby frog from the pool was her most recent rescue, gently placed in Buddha's hands to recover...

As a creator of imaginary worlds and friends, she has announced that she knows what else she would like to be when she grows up. When she isn't rescuing or healing animals, she wants to help make imaginary friends for people, in case they have trouble making up their own.

What I love the most, is that just being with her and watching her beautiful mind, is like watching magic being spun on a wheel.  She is creativity in motion, and I am eternally grateful to be a part of her world...

  2. What a sweetie! I hope her bucket bath was warm...it reminds me of Scout always wanting to take his bath in the sink...I think we were both kinda sad when he outgrew the kitchen sink...

  3. She is such a cutie! I have an animal-lover here who brings home every stray he finds. I now live in a zoo. I got a phone call this morning and three turkey's are soon to arrive. All I can do is just shake my head!
    Warmly,
