You can often find him among his favorite things: Lego, video games, board games, parkour, swimming, nerf wars, playing with dad, and being with his friends. But my favorite things about him are his gentleness, humor, versatility, and easy-going nature which make him the best big brother any drama-loving little sister would appreciate.
I make no excuses for going on and on about my children. Hubs likes to joke that I am blinded by them. Maybe I am, but I'd also like to believe I can see them clearer now, more than ever.

Oh my the lashes...and never feel you have to apologize for being in love with your children!
ReplyDeletetotally, totally awesome.
ReplyDeletethese are fantastic photos, as always...
he sounds a wonderful son.
ReplyDeleteI think it is our duty as mumma's to go on about our children, we are their cheerleaders, their supporters, their comforters, They should know that they are loved unconditionally and should grow up certain that they ARE the centre of our world. From this strong, independent adults will grow.
Funny, my two are exactly as you describe, but the other way around - my boy is fully of drama, energy and never still for a moment, when as his little sister is the calm, placid cuddlebug, lover of peace, stillness and quiet. They are the yin to each other's yang and draw strength and power from each other.
Wow! YOu're not kidding about those lashes!
ReplyDeletewow - this post was really beautiful and so touching. well done.
ReplyDeletethose lashes! woah, mama!
A beautiful boy, MJ. A boy who loves cuddles now will be a strong man someday. That's what I think anyway. : )
