"Your outlook on life is a direct reflection of how much you like yourself." ~ Unknown

Fun with Instagram
I read that quote on the lululemon athetica wall ad this weekend.  I have never heard of lululemon but I love their manifesto.  I think that about sums it up for me and what we are trying to do here parenting, life learning, and well, just living.

The positive messages seem to be everywhere these days. Or maybe they were always there and I am just seeing them more clearly now.  I watched this video after Jo's post the other day, and it inspired me.  It inspired me to remember that we all want the same thing, to love and be loved, to be inspired, to be seen into the depths of our hearts beyond our labels, roles, and titles.  We want to know that we have meant something to somebody at that deepest level, and that we are worth something without ever having to prove anything to anyone.  Today, I want to remember what fulfills me, what brings me joy, what makes me feel alive, and most importantly how to be happy with what I am and what I have, right here and right now.

Will you join me?

much love and inspiration to you

  3. I learned a long time ago that life really is short...too short for some...so I always try to live each day like it is my last. I am glad to hear that you are doing the same. It really is the only way to live!

  6. I have been working so hard on this. Grabbing the little moment and accepting them as joy, realizing that I am so much more than I let myself be. Thank you for another reminder. I needed it!

  7. Beautiful! I've been reading _When Things Fall Apart_ by Pema Chodron. She has a similar message. I am still trying to grasp it before I can fully embrace it. But, I will try and keep trying. Hugs to you today!

  12. Perfect. We've stated riding bikes right before dinner. Seems like a great new tradition for us to come together to end our day. Somehow, it makes slipping into the family dinner so much more cohesive. So much more present.

  13. Your posts on peaceful parenting and living a peaceful life have resonated with me. Just this week I was reading over my old journals and was amazed at the journey I have been on over the past 10 years to finally reach this place in my life. I was reminded of your recent posts.
