5 photographers

Still time to enter in the giveaway!
____________________________________________________________

I picked Icarus for M.
I won something recently :). To my giddy surprise I won a giveaway from the lovely and creative Brooke Schmidt, who blogs at Always Time for Tea. I could choose any print in her Etsy shop, most of which were taken with her vintage polaroid land camera (a camera I so want to explore). Thank you Brooke!

So because of this wonderful win, I started thinking about how much photography has inspired and influenced me lately, and Mon's latest meme, the 5 senses tour is the perfect time and place to share what I've been admiring.

Today I celebrate 5 gifted photographers slash bloggers that are fairly new to me in the last couple months. Each of them have the ability to evoke some emotion in me, some special feeling that emerges from viewing their photos. There are beautiful stories here, nostalgia, longing, mystery, freedom, adventure, essence, serenity...things that I am drawn to right now.

A few extra words on Maddie. I am taking her Persisting Stars
photography e-course right now and am
loving what I'm learning! Thanks Maddie!

"A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being
photographed in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression
of what one feels about life in its entirety."
 ~Ansel Adams

Hope you consider taking a 5 senses tour too!

  8. These are lovely! and yes, so emotionally stirring. All I have is a little Canon Powershot Elph camera and it's awesome for portability but I can't wait to get a "real" camera someday...
I am excited to hear about where you & your family will be moving. Where is the next chapter of the adventure unfolding? It's a mystery!
