I keep telling my self I'm not going to get anymore *arty* books, but this one looks like one I HAVE to have!!! It's probably because you showed the page with the Owls. I can blame it all on you! :D :D :D :D Hugs--
ReplyDeleteso sweet...
ReplyDeleteReally like Usborne books. My kids loved the Puzzle series (Puzzle Train, Puzzle Pirates...) The doodle book looks great and I'm sure my little artists would love it! I like the quote: "if anything can go well..." It's something I need to remind my old curmudgeon self sometimes!
ReplyDeleteWe agreed cards only and yet I received a flower :D I love surprises!! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, MJ. What joy pockets, indeed!
ReplyDeleteMJ, thanks for the hair link, I need all the help I can get. People comment on my long hair, it's long because I don't know how to it!

What a sweet Valentine! Usborne books are awesome!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the Usborn book. Endless supper-time prep activity here. My kids, all ages, can't get enough. Some days, I get to color, too and it always makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteMJ, I looked at the card, at the words written so simply on the top and instantly was so moved tears came to my eyes. How beautiful, and unexpected for you—and that's kind of life in a nutshell, isn't it? At least sometimes? It sneaks up and dazzles you out of the blue.
ReplyDeleteI have been reading your words and wanting to say SO much…then haven't… but I know you understand. I am so grateful to have your friendship, to have your kindness and support as I've been making my way back to wellness. Please know you've been in my heart always. I am excited for your future and nervous for you and delighted and I just think you are wonderful, MJ.
This whole space, your place, is a "collection of joy," I think. And a place of thoughtfulness, and honesty, and such beauty. I am so glad you're here.
Awwww. That card was so sweet. Thanks for the links, I will be trying the "Messy Ballerina Bun" tomorrow :)
ReplyDeleteoh so much joy! love your sweetie husband, that makes me so happy to see. and thank you for the links, you always find the greatest things!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful Vday surprise! That's when it is extra special. Love the "from every cell in my body" part 1) b/c my hubby is a scientist and sounds like something he would say 2) goes along with a book I am reading. Great links! Thinking of you as your big move inches closer xoxo
ReplyDeleteAw, such a sweet card.... :)
ReplyDeleteJust checked out the Usborne Book and it looks awesome!
Have fun with your soul sister this weekend!

Lovely....love the Usborne book of drawing, it is fab!
ReplyDeleteMuch love
I collect colouring books like Imelda Marcos collects shoes! My favourite by far is Let's make some great art by Marion Deuchars. It's a fabulous colouring book with lots of art lessons, and a look at different painters. Really accessible and interactive. It has deservedly earned 5 stars on amazon. It's a thick a4 sized manual.
ReplyDeleteThat's a whole lotta love, MJ. What a lovely sentence.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card (words) to receive...
ReplyDelete: )
I like that saying at the end.
ReplyDeleteit's amazing what one thought can do.
It's something that I still work with everyday.
I like the idea of having it made into a shirt. (As I don't like bumper stickers.)
XO
Have a great week Soul Sista, Love Katie x

ReplyDeleteSo happy that in the midst of all of your busyness that you have still found pockets of joy!
ReplyDeleteThat big book looks amazing!
