Joy Pockets with Monica and This Moment with Amanda are my favorite ways to welcome Fridays. Even though I've had lack of sleep and a little cold this week, the good things were still there, waiting to catch my eye. All I had to do was try :)....

almost finishing with knitting the back of my first sweater :).
And now for the love of Artists and Etsy:
Yoborobo: Originally introduced to me awhile ago thanks to Lori, these beautifully handmade dolls have a touch of the quirky, bizarre, and utterly lovable. Pam's talent extends into drawing and painting, and she is also a published children's author. Her passion for animals, monsters, and skeletons is so similar to a certain little girl I know, that I would bet that the words "spooky" and "Tim Burton" are common in their vocabulary :).

And have you been to Laura Emily's new shop

New music, date night, and forgotten chocolate? You had some great moments this week. I hope the cold is better and you find a little time to just rest and relax, it's important you know :)! I see boxes in the background, are you almost done packing? It must be so exciting and yet hard too huh?
ReplyDeleteYes! I am surrounded by boxes, but I wish i could say I was close to being done. And wouldn't you know that most of what's left is clothes, kitchen and books. I just can't seem to pack my books away! You know how that goes (wink).

oh those dolls are just too wonderful! and i’m always so grateful for your music finds. and you, my dear, are so very beautiful...keep the photos coming! and bless your heart on the last bit of packing....it’s always the hardest. and the refridgerator...i hate the final fridge clean out! have a lovely date night and of course, you can tell the hubs...it’s not exactly private, is it? i told matt to look lively when he took the kids to school this morning and he turned about 50 shades of red....it had not occurred to him that all the school mom’s would be reading!
ReplyDeletehave a lovely!
"finding greater courage in taking self portraits"
ReplyDeleteYour self portrait in this post is just mesmerizing. I struggle terribly with self portraits. I find something so odd about taking photos of myself. I still can't put my camera on a tripod and photograph myself with my family either...don't know! ;)
Happy Friday!
ps...have you caught a glimpse of Boulder's current weather?! Coat check!
I know I know!! How many inches are you up to now? Hope you all stay warm Katie!!!
