Alfie

To look at him, there is nothing really remarkable about him. He's a typical, gray tabby, a little on the thin side maybe, green eyes, small to medium sized, and a not-so-young 7 year old ....Out of so many cats--gorgeous ones at that, long haired, persian, siamese, tuxedo, and tortoise shell cats--all needing homes just as he did, why, one may ask, did we choose him?

We didn't really. He  made it clear, from the moment we walked into his kitty kennel, "I am going home with you." He loved, he purred, he climbed on our chests, put his paws on my shoulders and gave me a kiss. He gives unconditionally, wholly, and trustingly. A little needy right now perhaps, but I think any cat cooped in a cage for weeks would be a little needy, wouldn't you agree? Everyone, meet Alfie, the newest member of our little clan. Alfie, welcome to blogland :). As you can see, he has comfortably made himself at home. Now if I could just get to my mouse and keyboard....

xoxo

  13. Oh, yes...cats choose their soul mates. :) All of my kitties have chosen me, too, and it's worked out perfectly. Luna plunked herself down in my lap and fell asleep purring, Bella perched on my shoulder, and Mikko "head-butted" me, rolled over, and looked at me upside down, reaching for me with his front legs (how do you resist *that*?). No more cats for me, though, or I become that crazy cat lady! lol

How wonderful that you have each other! He's gorgeous, too.
