So in the theme of change, we are leaving Florida for 4 weeks.  After several years of searching, a few months of planning and with great daily resolve we are loading up the car and driving north. Our destination--central Virginia, and we will be visiting for 4 long, beautiful weeks near the Shenandoah Valley.

We don't know if this is where we will end up replanting our roots, but the journey itself is a step in the right direction. It is exhilarating, as well as terrifying, to shake things up a bit and invite change and challenge. We have been wanting this for a long time. For me, I have been wanting to move to the mountains for 27 years. That's a long time to wait for a dream to come true, but it's a dream that has never changed and was never doubted. How wonderful that my life partner has had the same dream.
