From one soul to another... a giveaway for you...

When I first learned about the Soul Restoration project back in December, I was iffy about committing 6 weeks of my time to an online class.  I kept going back to the Brave Girl's Club website, reading about the classes, and watching the videos they provided on what the class was all about.  The whole idea of "soul crafting" was intriguing to me, which (from their website) means using creativity through art, collage, and journaling to get back in touch with your soul, your innermost thoughts and feelings, and perhaps your spirituality.

To be honest, I didn't really feel out of touch with my soul, nor did I really feel "off-track" or "stuck".  Yet, I had a nagging feeling that perhaps there is more to uncover about myself than I really knew.  I had explored my past plenty, but was there more to learn?  Perhaps this would be the perfect venue to not only learn more creatively, but spiritually.  How wonderful would it be to give myself some committed time every week to explore my dreams, my hopes, and my potential!  When was the last time I gave my soul so much attention anyway?  Awhile.  Was my soul worth the time and the money?  Absolutely.  And so is yours.

As my Soul Restoration class comes to a close, and as I reflect back on the beautiful, creative journey I have taken with this class, I have realized the importance of taking care of our souls, keeping in constant contact with it, nourishing it, honoring it, opening up to it, and spending time with it.  This creative process has allowed my soul to come to the surface, giving it life and a voice.  I put up a quote by C. S. Lewis not too long ago, "You don't have a soul, you are a soul. You have a body."  This class has allowed me to not just look upon others as other bodies, but as other souls all wanting the same thing:  to express, to love, and to live wholeheartedly.

So, my gift to you, from one soul to another, is a chance to take the next Soul Restoration 6 week online class starting April 5th.

  5. what a wonderful giveaway, and it sounds such a wonderful experience too - I love the way you write about it and the positive effects that you have felt from it. I think it is so important to find time to nurture ourselves especially as mumma's when we are so much in demand all the time, and so busy trying to keep all the plates spinning and the people happy.
