Joining Ginny over at Small Things for Yarn Along:
"~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? ... ~"
So I finally did finish Raising Our Children Raising Ourselves by Naomi Aldort. I must say it is one of the best parenting books I have ever read. She expresses so much of what I have felt in the past year in transitioning to parenting peacefully. To recommend this book would be an understatement. Now on to this week's book, an oldie but goodie and I am loving it-- Reader's Digest Back to Basics. First published in 1981, I actually remember my parents' owning this book. It is truly a treasure with everything you ever wanted to know about homesteading. In it's own words:
naturally caron's country charcoal yarn and my goal is to have a beautifully knitted hat like this. Didn't my friend Cory do a nice job? The pattern comes from here. Unfortunately this hat has already been unraveled, twice. I have the beginner blues right now but I also have the beginner gusto, no pain no gain baby, it is ON!!
