  5. I don't think I have seen a ringed snake before. We have had quite a few snakes lately; I think they are looking for water. I just wish some of the ones I see weren't poisonous. MJ, I hope you have a great weekend.

  11. Siri- Oh goodness no. Though this little guy is not poisonous, I read that they do give off a horrible odor when scared. He was harmless, but I did have to keep the kids from picking him up!!

  17. Eek. Thats a surprise! I am loving your cooling header picture up there!! It looks like a fun place to visit. We have a local park that has a water play area kinda similar, but it is always pretty packed on hot days when we'd like to go the most.

  25. we love snakes, especially sweet baby ring necks. we would have played with him for awhile before letting him go. i have come to enjoy snakes because of my reptile loving son (why unschooling/homeschooling is so awesome - I have learned more in the last decade...)
