Joy Pockets with Monica...
When I slow down and push busy-ness aside, remembering that it can wait, the quietest of details begin to seep in, yearning to fill that space. And then I see...
the caterpillar on our tomato leaf, a snail on the screen...
the fleeting clouds that cover the sun, hailing enormous relief...
the sound of cooing sunkissed showers, coaxing children to swim in the rain...
the taste of sun-drenched jasmine pearls
with hints of lime and mint ...
the surprise and delight of receiving a long-traveled postcard, the thoughtfulness and the sincerity of a beautiful, faraway friend...
a phone that has roared back to life despite its mini swim :)...
the lovely smell of tea tree oil upon opening the dryer door...
a fantastic new story that has given me laughter and tears by chapter 5...
and one more second captured, as I join Amanda in This Moment...
I hope this weekend brings you the details that scream life, love and joy...
much love
xx oo

I love receiving letters and postcards. It still is such a tactile form of connection to my friends far away. I love it when someone takes the time to write and send something to me.

ReplyDeleteI know this visit is way overdue but I still wanted to pop in!
Last week, I was playing around on my new phone and got this shot of my nephew. I always enjoy him, but particularly when I see my sister's essence in him. Does that make sense? This was one of those moments...
