Pocketful of Moments

Joining Monica with Joy Pockets...

What I found this week was a sense that I had more time. Everything seemed to slow down just a little, giving me permission to saunter and stroll, not race or rush.

I found time for art and journaling...

time to listen, watch, and feel the sudden-ness of stormy weather...

time to bake chocolate banana bread and blueberry muffins...

time to finish the Help(wonderful!) and start the Book Thief...

time to work on our bowling style...

time to wish for a secret secondhand bookshop of my own...

and time for This Moment with Amanda

I hope your weekend is slow, steady, and oh so full :).

xx oo

  11. Ah things are so much better when you just are in the moment-not driven by clock or calendar. Love that you found so much time this week? Can you tell us what led to that abundance?
I am hoping that the somewhat slowed down pace of summer can be felt at least a little when school starts!
    Much love,
    Ang

  21. Lovely to think of you having Time, MJ, and to think of you strolling, creating, thinking, dreaming… ah. I'm so glad.

Love all these pics—that grasshopper is stunning!

And I adored The Book Thief. It's one of my favourite books, ever, Of All Time. (Did you know Markus Zusak is Australian? He came here for a talk once, and is the sweetest man. And a genius, for writing this wonderful book!)
