Summers are for open roads
with dreams and loaded cars.
Skinny sandals and bare feet
walk beaches and discover.
Faithful stories at your side,
summer dresses and cold drinks.
The drifting smell of barbeque
mingling with the heat.
And though the showers still may come
bringing coolness and relief,
the gentle breeze of autumn calls,
moving closer to your skin.
Summer's last days are here...
don't forget to take them in.
And if the fireflies still dance,
go ahead, and dance with them...
much love
xx oo
