Being married to a creative, I know that the need to create is so deeply rooted within their souls that there is no choice but to let it spill from their heads and hearts, and finally through their hands. To not do so would bring darkness, stagnation, and emotional pain, truly, as I have seen this with my own eyes. And maybe it is because I've watched my own husband's trials in his elemental need to express his creative voice, that I can appreciate what it takes to forge something original and share it with the world. Seeing a piece of art that speaks to me is like having fairy dust sprinkled on my head so that I may fly and be carried to someplace special for awhile. It's a wonderful feeling....
So with that said, I want to reinstate something I did near when my blog began, which is to share amazing artists, usually (but not always) found on Etsy. I will share at least one every Friday on Joy Pockets, but today I have three :).
Brooke Schmidt is the lovely blogger at always time for tea. She is a talented photographer who I believe was the first person who showed me what one could do with a polaroid. But it wasn't until I went to her Etsy shop and Flickr page that I realized the extent of her imagination. See this and read this, and you will see what I mean!!

You know, funny enough, it was on Monday that I discovered them, thanks to one of our camping friends that mentioned them last weekend. Then all of sudden this week, they seem to have gone viral...and I am not surprised :). Good for them...and why am I not surprised that you love them too??
