In plain view...

It was an insanely crazy and emotional day yesterday.
We had to put our 2nd rat down due to a respiratory illness :(, we were so sad and now we are completely ratless. They gave us a wonderful 2 1/2 years....It was also Hub's birthday, and then of course the election. Sprinkle in there a burial, volunteering at the Humane Society, and cooking a birthday dinner...All I can say is that I am glad it's Wednesday and I can focus on the peaceful things that are in plain view...

Happy Wednesday to you

xoxo

ps. Some of these images came from the Denver Botanical Gardens that we visited this past weekend :).

I am sorry you are ratless! And I am feeling for you and your full day, and I am glad (and inspired) to see the way you focus, always and again, on the beauty all around. How I do love coming by here :)

  7. Beautiful and yes, very peaceful images here. Some days are just a perfect storm of stress aren't they? Wanted to say that I feel your pain with your last "dragon" post. Children who are loved and allowed to be children keep part of their childhood always, I am sure, no matter what the other kids say.
    Cheers,

  10. i am so sorry about your rats. and oddly enough, our tuesday was about as hectic. we had to vote, take our old dog on multiple vet trips and emergency surgery and squeeze in music class and gymnastics class (and an oil class i am taking). we were up and going from 5am until 1130.

so glad for the down time now.
