Okay, my confession is that I have been wanting to lurk more than post in the past week or so. The writing that has emerged from my pen is not something I really want to post--dark and gloomy, contemplative and even negative. I call it mental vomit, cleaning house, purging the pestilent thoughts that like to visit me now and then. As much as I prefer being honest in these pages, I also prefer to keep some sensations under lock and key, at least for now, do you know what I mean?
So in the meantime, I am posting Alfie and his most beloved toy on the planet, the adorable felt mouse that I won from a good
friend a while back. This spunky and smart as a tack cat will drop that mouse right on my keyboard to let me know that he wants me to throw it, and then we play fetch. We will play fetch at least 3 times a day!! Dang I love this cat....he can pull me from that greasy, seedy neighborhood in my brain and remind me where "here" is :).
