Sprinklers reflecting rainbows in the sun, a visit to see Grandma with all her goodies, firecrackers, fireflies, and cold iced tea. Lazy, shirtless (or bra-less) days, movie marathons, and watermelon. Children brown and tan, grinning from ear to ear, begging for sleepovers and camping underneath a blanket of stars.

Midnight in Paris, written and directed by Woody Allen. Imagine being in Paris, and then traveling back in time to meet Ernest Hemingway, Picasso, Rodin, Gauguin, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Zelda, and then having Gertrude Stein read and critique your novel, and love it. I loved this movie, witty, adorable and funny, a great way to welcome summer.
