The Sarasota Medieval Festival was one of our big destinations this past weekend. What is inspiring to me is the full commitment these actors have-- not only to their characters--but to the fun and merriment of the whole occasion. We watched and participated in comedic skits, live action storytelling, jousting, oyster pearl hunting and of course ate our own large turkey leg. Most of the time, we found ourselves laughing and enjoying ourselves, amidst learning about King Arthur and medieval times.
