A glowing presence (did you see it?)

We were out and about most of the day yesterday, and as the sun slowly set, a strange and beautiful hue began to fill the sky.

I couldn't believe the colors I was seeing and just kept snapping away. And then I saw it.

At first I was unsure what it was and thought it was a reflection of something else, but then it began to be clear exactly what I was watching.

The pinks disappeared, only to replaced by the orange glow of the moon. One by one, passersby stopped just as I did, hoping to capture by camera just an ounce of its beauty. On the water, I noticed we weren't the only ones coming out to greet the moon.

It's these memorable moments that bring gratitude and amazement. The best part was that I was sharing this moment, quietly, with everything and everyone else around me as we all had stopped, knowing that what we were seeing was quite special.

  1. We saw it too! What an amazing full moon it was last night. We all went outside to enjoy it too. Your photos are stunning.

  2. Oh gosh this is so pretty! I can't believe you were able to capture the moon like that also, wow!

  3. Wow - so incredibly beautiful.
