This moment ~ A different view times two

As inspired by Soule Mama:

"A Friday ritual. A single photo -no words- capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor, and remember."

I couldn't do it, I couldn't choose between the two pics!! So I didn't.
P.S. The chihuahuas aren't mine. I just covet other people's dogs...

If you would like, please leave your link to your moment in the comments!!

  1. I love your first photo! Love LOve LOVE it! I would frame that one too! :)

I was coming by to say thanks for contributing to the discussion on Sofia's Ideas. I replied to your comment so I was hoping you'd make it back over when you had a moment.

BUT while I was here, I poked around a bit and noticed that we have quite a few things in common - I live in Florida, am married to my best friend, a French boy, and I'm Asian too! Thats just some of it, but wow! ;) What part of FL are you located? We're in Palm Beach County.

  8. hi,

I just wanted to leave a comment and say hello - i've just found your blog and utterly love it. I feel we are in a similar place, but you are considerably ahead of me - I'm coming from an authoritarian, high achieving upbringing, and am moving towards a more authentic, holistic approach to bringing up my own children (a boy and a girl, aged 7 and 3). I love your writing and your photos, and I'm going to be following you closely as we embark on our own homeschooling/unschooling journey. I've been blogging at julieslittlejoys.blogspot.com for a couple of years, but have just started a new blog bohomumma.blogspot.com to chart our new journey, if you would like to know more about us.

  9. We often belligerently tease that chihuahuas aren't really dogs, but rats, or "ratdog"'s. (We have a St. Bernard.)
Our children love them, however, and yesterday Maddie wanted Eric to look up a movie on netflix... "Dad... I know you don't like chihuahuas, but would you find Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 for me?"
    "Chihuahuas aren't dogs."
"Oh Yes They Are!!!" Then, "Trevy looked it up!" lol

  10. I wouldn't be able to choose either! Love the angle of the first one and the adorable faces of the second.

That's my husband skiing in my photo. It's funny how the pictures you don't plan turn out to be more memorable. : )

    Be well ~Andrea~
