On my mind and in my days

I share glimpses of what's been on my mind and in my days here...I celebrate the tiny gifts that arrive in the mail, the joy of trying new wines, the brilliant colors that drift in and out my daily periphery, the rock formations (The Royal Arch hike--the longest and best one yet), the views that you must be tired of seeing and reading about by now, the latest book that arrived in the mail that's inspired me to take my polaroids to France with me, regardless of how heavy they are, and the vintage blue underwood beauty that was waiting for me in a local paper shop...she actually types in cursive...

France is just around the corner my friends. I cannot wait to share it with you.  I will pop in with pictures, maybe some words if there is time...

much love to you

xoxo

ps.  Would you like a postcard from France? Please email me your address to wwdblog at gmail by Monday, May 28th, and I will be sure to send one to you!!

pss.  I change the music in the sidebar every week so make sure you check it out, ya know...if you want to :)...

  5. What a beautiful post...such lovely things in your mind and your days. And France...I am anxious to see all of your photos and hear of your adventures. We had hoped to visit this past year and stay with American friends living there until July...but Pal changed those plans for us! ;)

And I must say I am in LOVE with the yellow canisters visible in the one photo. I realized earlier this week (as I stepped onto the small kid chair in the kitchen to reach baking supplies for the 700th time) that my next thrifting challenge is to find fun canisters for the counter top!

  7. I can't even begin to tell you how in awe I am of your mountain views. Stunning!! We have beautiful mountains in upstate NY, but they're nothing like this.

Would love a postcard!! I love snail mail - no one sends it anymore. I'll email you my address. :)

And, I LOVE the music on your sidebar. Music is a big part of my day, every day. Always love discovering a new artist, and we have the same taste in music. Love The Tallest Man on Earth!

  9. hi mj! who wouldn't want a post card from you in paris? : ) i feel bad asking for one... kinda like, i'm so fortunate that i met you in person, i shouldn't be asking for post cards. but, since michael and i were engaged there and went there for our honeymoon, i'm sure a postcard from paris would water the love in my heart that was planted there. ahhh... the city of love! bon voyage!
